The dream of Lamp Post Creative Learning Center came from a dream for our family.  We had a vision to build and grow the beautiful parts of our lives that we want to continue to share with people around us.  After 14 years in Cortez, CO, we have seen and grown to love the community from all walks of life that call this home.  We know that many times smaller communities miss out on amazing people being able to stay in the area due to the lack of opportunities.  We have seen the theatre departments grow in both the middle school and high school with continued growing interest of elementary children and adults who also want to come and creatively play.  There is a growing need and desire for more opportunities outside of a high school theatre program.  There are also so many avenues of possibilities to share creative ideas and projects that go beyond everyday life.  Our community is a great place to provide these possibilities of STEM projects, art, theatre, nature, and team building through creative play.
