Matilda is a highly unusual child - she likes to read, she’s smart. Her parents wish she would watch more television, her bully of a principal, Ms. Trunchbull, thinks she’s a waste of space, but when she discovers her powers of telekinesis, she joins forces with her friends and her sweet teacher, Miss Honey, to overthrow the tyranny at her school and teach the world that children are valuable, too.

Lamp Post is excited to announce this community theatre musical opportunity for people of all ages. We’re looking for kids and adults to act, sing, and dance; and if being on stage isn’t your thing, we need technicians, too - lights, sound, costumes, props, set building, etc.
