Matilda is a highly unusual child - she likes to read, she’s smart. Her parents wish she would watch more television, her bully of a principal, Ms. Trunchbull, thinks she’s a waste of space, but when she discovers her powers of telekinesis, she joins forces with her friends and her sweet teacher, Miss Honey, to overthrow the tyranny at her school and teach the world that children are valuable, too.

Lamp Post is excited to announce this community theatre musical opportunity for people of all ages. We are now in rehearsals for this show, and we have over 90 people involved with the cast, crew, and pit orchestra, so you won’t want to miss it.

Show dates are February 13, 14, 20, and 21, and tickets will be available for purchase in early January.
